- Dave was selected as a (Northeast) Regional Finalist in the 2011 Mountain Stage (New Song) Contest.

- Over 40 radio stations across the US and in Western Europe are playing songs from “Yellow Moon”... (May-June 2011)
KBOO-Portland, OR, KFAI -Minneapolis, MN, WAER-Syracuse, NY, KXCI-Tucson, AZ, KRCB-Santa Rosa, CA, WMNF-Tampa, FL, KOPN-Columbia, MO, KPFT-Houston, TX…. “Yellow Moon” is also getting a lot of play on internet radio from “Radio Free America,” “Radio Eclectic” and “Radio Vagabond” among others. - Again,  the song “Chesapeake” from “Stories from Snake Hill” shows up on the Oprah Winfrey Network.  This time on an episode of "Why Not with Shania Twain." Ironically, Marc Muller, who produced two of Dave's CD's and plays on all of them and happened to co-wrote "Chesapeake" with Dave, was as a member of Shania Twain's touring band for over 10 years.

-  "Chesapeake" chosen for "Walk-the-Line" compilation LP, from the Irish record label Urban Angel Music. The CD was distributed throughout Europe and the US. (2009) 

- Winner of 9th Annual Great American Song Contest. His song "Chesapeake" (co-written with Marc Muller) was awarded 1st Place in the Acoustic/Folk category. (March 2008)
